Liberation Project

The Liberation Project, Inc. is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing community programming to the Fort Bend County of Houston, Texas. The Project provides targeted programs to children and youth including a prevention and intervention program to thwart off potential negative draws, such as drugs, gang violence and other peer pressure, that plague today's youth. We strive to also renew families through education, counseling and personal development programs, some of which are already in place and others that are slated for our upcoming Liberation Life Center.

The Liberation Project, along with local partnerships, introduced the Glen Park housing development -- a 113-home subdivision providing affordable housing to lower income families. Additionally, Covenant Glen and the Liberation Project embarked on the major project for liberating and empowering families through the Liberation Life Center that opened in February 2006

The life center will include items and programs such as:

Children and youth after-school, prevention and intervention programs
Counseling and social services including marriage counseling, HIV/AIDS education and testing, and home-buyers programs
Health and wellness programs and exercise opportunities at the gymnasium
