Transitions  and Urban Spirit Youth Ministries

Covenant Glen’s youth ministry helps develop young
 believers in grades 6 to 12 through Transitions Middle School
 and Urban Spirit Youth Ministry. Youth ministry aims to help students navigate through all the clutter in their world through the lens of Christ. Our goal is to help them figure out how to activate their relationship with God.
TRANSITIONS Middle School Ministry gives middle 6th and 7th
grade students a place of their own where they feel loved and are allowed to
 encounter God in a personal and kid-friendly way. Urban Spirit high schoolers dive deep into studying how to live an ethical and moral life.

YOUTH Church

Each Sunday, youth gather at  10:00 am in youth worship. The services incorporate word study, SANKOFA, CGYF,  and Sunday Summits.  
Don't miss the Fall EMERGE YOUTH WEEKEND and Christmas Road Trip!

SANKOFA

Sankofa offers  high school students a rites of passage program based on culture, heritage, faith, social just and FAITH. The program runs on 3rd Sundays.

CGYF and MISSIONS

Youth met for CG Youth Fellowship-CGYF. Youth are introduced to mission groups and other youth ministries in our faith that keep kids connected to their faith.  on CGYF Sunday, we will incorporate faith-building games and
hands-on outreach.

VBS  and YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Summer isn't summer without VBS! We have fantastic lessons as well as great food, water fights, kickball, and more! Youth serve in roles as leaders and participants. Youth Sunday School offers teens the chance to engage in small group study. These classes dive deep into God's word, helping you understand how it connects to daily life.


 VOLUNTEER AND WORSHIP MINISTRY

Youth can find services opportunities in the following areas:  choir, ushers, greeters, CG Drama Ministry, children's ministry, Glen Day of Giving, Haiti Outreach, Liberation Project Community Outreach, and partnerships with CG Community Connections Services.
